How To Be Saved

The bad news: We're all sinners. Every day we fall short of the glory of God.
The good news: There's a Savior who wants to help with that.

The bad news: The wages of sin is death
The good news: The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
(Romans 6:23)

The very good news: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
​
Even more good news: That promise is available to everyone. All you have to do is give your heart to Jesus. All you have to do is come to Him with the knowledge that you are a sinner who needs saving. Know that Jesus died for those sins and shed his blood for you. Cry out to Jesus and confess Him as your Lord and Savior. It doesn't matter what you've done, where you've been, or who you think you are. You're not past the saving grace of Jesus Christ. He loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life if you'll only reach out to Him.

Lord Jesus,
I come before you as humbly as I know how. I confess that I am a sinner in need of saving. I recognize that there is no other way but the precious blood of Jesus. I know and believe that You died on the cross of Calvary to pay my way to an eternal life with you. I believe that you are the Son of God and I believe that you can save me. I ask that you will reach down from the throne of grace right now and pull me up out of the mess of sin. Thank You Jesus for saving me.
All of this I ask in the name of Jesus, Amen.
